This picture illustrates David. I used a picture because I believe it helps picture the story. In this case it helps better understand what this David would look like. This picture helps better understand the character because within the story it had always talked about David’s eyes, how they looked different from others. It had also talked a little about this clothing.
Picture Two

These pictures illustrate a concentration camp. Using this picture gives you a feel for what a concentration camp really is. The pictures show to the extreme the events that David was going through. It shows how cruel it was in David’s life time. This makes you understand why David is the way he is. This could important because his personality is brought up several times within the story.

A photograph is best for specific details. This is true because a book cannot describe every little thing or else it would be overwhelming. Text can only go so far, but an illustration of whatever is being described really helps better understand it. For example, a book can tell about all the colours of a sunset or a rainbow, but if you were new to world you couldn’t really understand what the colours looked like if you didn’t really see it.
If the pictures arent showing up comment if you would like me to email you my Micorsoft Word version on this.
